A brief position editorial. We don't republish leaks. Here's why we don't, and what we do instead.

What we don't do

Re-publish leaked screenshots. Re-publish leaked source material. Accept leaks as 'confirmed'. Speculate based on unverified leaked information.

What we do do

Acknowledge that leak claims exist. Fact-check individual untrue claims (see the leak debunking page). Only treat Rockstar's own material as confirmation.

Why

Leak material is not legitimate news. Republishing it damages the studio's release process and the staff who work on the game. Editorial integrity is more important than leak traffic.
