This page is our working catalogue of GTA 6 locations. Every entry is sourced from official Rockstar materials, trailer footage, or verified community frame analysis. Anything speculative is clearly flagged. We update as new info appears.
For the broader regional context, see our Vice City map guide and Leonida map guide. For the trailer-by-trailer evidence behind these locations, see our trailer location breakdown.
Cities and major settlements
Vice City - confirmed - the largest urban centre and the game's primary city. Sits in the south of Leonida hugging the coast.
Secondary cities - trailer-implied - footage suggests 2-4 smaller cities scattered through Leonida. Visual cues point to Tampa, Orlando, and Cape Coral inspirations, but Rockstar hasn't published names. We'll update when official details appear.
Vice City districts
Beachfront strip - confirmed - the neon-lit, art-deco hotel zone that defines Vice City's visual identity in both trailers.
Downtown core - confirmed - mid-rise glass towers and corporate density visible in second trailer aerial shots.
Port district - confirmed - sprawling shipping port visible in trailer 2.
Suburban zones - confirmed - residential neighbourhoods extending inland from Vice City.
Little Havana analogue - trailer-implied - footage suggests a barrio neighbourhood with Cuban-American visual cues. Name not confirmed.
Wilderness and rural zones
Wetlands / Everglades analogue - confirmed - airboat, alligator, and dense waterway footage in trailer 2 confirms a major wetland region (deep-dive: GTA 6 Everglades guide).
Coastal islands - confirmed - the Keys-style island chain south of Vice City, connected by bridges (deep-dive: GTA 6 Florida Keys guide).
Inland rural - confirmed - smaller towns, strip malls, and highway sequences visible in promo materials.
Specific named locations within these regions are still being identified by the community.
Confirmed landmarks
Vice City International Airport - implied - trailer footage shows a major airport facility consistent with Vice City scale.
The bridge to the islands - confirmed - visible in trailer 2 connecting Vice City to the Keys-style chain.
Horse racing track or stadium - implied - footage of a large oval venue in the suburbs.
Drive-in theatre - confirmed - visible in promotional shots of the rural inland zone.
Vice City beach boardwalk - confirmed - extensive boardwalk visible in both trailers.
Future user-created locations
Player-built and modded locations don't exist yet - GTA 6 hasn't released on PC, where the modding scene typically takes off. Once the toolchain matures, GTA 6 modding tools will support custom MLOs and zone additions. Map-specific custom content will be tracked at GTA 6 custom map downloads when available.
