2016-2020: RP expanded massively on FiveM, with little-to-no comment from Rockstar. 2020-2023: Rockstar acknowledged that RP existed. 2023: the Cfx.re purchase placed FiveM within Rockstar. 2026: GTA 6 releases into a different RP world than GTA V did.
