What Trailer 2 shows
Pink flamingos flying against a wetland backdrop. The shot is short. Model quality is on par with the rest of the wildlife shots - fully animated, not a static poster.
Whether flamingos come in groups, whether they have ground behaviour the player can see, and whether they're restricted to certain wetland sub-regions are all yet to be confirmed.
Why flamingos matter as a signal
Flamingos are the most cliched animal you could feature in a Florida-themed video game. Rockstar including them isn't a subtle wink - it's a deliberate hand slapped on the 'this is Florida' table. That trailer makes the Everglades reference, the Keys reference and the South Beach reference; flamingos take the seat next to all of them.
The other thing it lets you know is that the wildlife system isn't purely gameplay focused. Flamingos in flight pose no threat to the player. They are scenery animals with proper animation. That bar - scenery wildlife executed well - is one Rockstar has cleared before, with RDR2 specifically coming to mind.
