Hunting was a load-bearing system in RDR2. It hasn't been a serious system in GTA. Whether GTA 6 changes that is real speculation - we hedge.

Arguments for

Wildlife visible in trailers is detailed. Florida has real hunting culture. Rural region content needs gameplay loops; hunting fits.

RDR2's pipeline exists in Rockstar's tools - re-using parts of it for GTA 6 would be cheaper than starting over.

Arguments against

GTA's audience isn't a hunting audience by default. Hunting takes design effort that could go to urban content. Animal welfare backlash is a real reputational risk for Rockstar.

GTA games have historically not done hunting. That's a strong precedent.
