Companion to the GTA 5 Blaine vs GTA 6 rural piece. Different angle - this is from the Leonida side.

What Leonida brings that Blaine didn't

Water. Wetlands instead of desert means a fundamentally different traversal vocabulary. Tropical climate. Mosquitoes-and-humidity coding instead of dust-and-heat.

More visible population density across rural areas. Real Florida's countryside is more populated than rural California, and Leonida ships that signal.

What Blaine had that Leonida won't

Mountains. Mt Chiliad's mystery and the long elevation gameplay. Open desert. The kind of post-apocalyptic emptiness that worked for Trevor.

These aren't replaceable - they're regional differences. Leonida will be a different rural experience, not a successor.
