Step 1: 3D authoring
Build the interior geometry in 3ds Max or Blender. Walls, floors, props, custom lighting setup. UV map textures.
Step 2: Export
Export the geometry to GTA-compatible formats - YDR for the drawable, YBN for collision.
Step 3: Wire into the map
Use CodeWalker to place the MLO into the game world. Set the portal connecting external door to interior space. Tag the interior.
Step 4: Test and iterate
Load the modded game. Test entry, exit, lighting, audio. Iterate on issues.
